i spose, the whole extent up til the point before the bye!
we leave behind memories of the good times shared and when we say farewell we are indulging in hope for the future tht it Will be equally as good, if not better.
tht byes are said therefore should not mark a mournful moment, and therefore should not be treated as one to be despised. rather, let's mk it a celebratory point where in realising how transient life is (since byes mark ends but ends as we noe are never ends in themselves but also points of new beginnings) we stop to cherish and reflect on such sacred moments and give thanks for all tht has been and for all tht is to come. because if we can believe in God at all, we can count on the promise tht He has after all proclaimed it good.
